Visibility and Planning event
This document is a narration of the detail of the event and sessions of the training workshop on MeraApp that was conducted for the District and Assistant District coordinators of MeraApp and Soochnapreneur, Soochna seva, Smartpur and CIRC program. This residential training was conducted at the International Youth Centre and the sessions lasted for two days.
Information to benefits or ‘Yojna se labh tak’
The state level consultation sought to invite different stake holders from Government, Civil Society Organizations, Community based organizations and others, which were intending to work and feel the importance of Information and using of Digital tools to bridge the gap between the information and the citizen scheme and the entitlements mostly.
Yojana Se Labh Tak Workshop, Ranchi
Digital Empowerment Foundation conducted one day workshop on 12th December 2018 in Ranchi (Jharkhand) at Visvesvaraya Sanitation & Water Academy on “Yojana se Labh Tak”: Role of NGOs and Civil Society organizations as social service providers.
e-Sakhi Training
The training of 21 women soochnapreneurs was conducted for the E-Sakhi program. The training was conducted for four days i.e. from 18 July 2018 to 21 July 2018. The training was conducted in 3 blocks of Rajasthan. The four-day training of E-Sakhi covered different areas so that diverse information can be imparted to them.
Soochna seva and Soochnapreneur Training
The group training of Soochna seva and Soochnapreneur was conducted on 8th June 2018. The training was held in Guna (Madhya Pradesh).
Capacity Building Training
On 14th April 2018, Digital Empowerment Foundation took the initiative with the collaboration of QUALCOMM to start its SoochnaPreneur program in Barabanki District of Uttar Pradesh. “SoochnaPreneur” took one more step towards launching the program.
International Women’s Day
The International Women Day celebration was held on 8th March in Alwar city of Rajasthan District at Police Adhiveshan Bhawan. A cultural program focusing on women rights was organized to celebrate the “power of a woman”.

Poonya Raj Saini lives in a village located in Alwar district of Rajasthan namely-Bahali. He is handicapped and belongs from a lower-class family also he is the eldest among all his siblings.

Hira Bai met our Samarth SoochnaPreneur Kaluram Sen and then he acknowledged her about domicile certificate issuing process for his handicapped husband.
Community received Benefits
The Aanganbadi centre is not operated in Surte ki dhani in Barmer, Rajasthan due to the lockdown and the food distributed on this center is closed.
Raisan got happiness
My name is Raisan, and I belong to a small village of Alwar, Rajasthan. In the beginning of April, during the time of lockdown I went to another village to withdraw some money.
Battling Covid-19
Our Samarth SoochnaPreneure, Basant Bihari Singh has sanitized nearly 150 family member’s house including streets and roads in order to restrict this pandemic
The require unprecedented effort
Shivani is a 18 years old student of B.A. and she belongs from a poor family, her due to lack of required documents she was not able to get her income, caste and resident certificates from Public services department.
Solution of disruption
Babli Kumari, a woman from Gram Sabha Tadipur, is 33 years old, she lives with her husband and children, and she belongs to a very poor family who lives their life by farming.
The quick fix..
Ritesh Kujur lives in village- Malar under Kundi in Ranchi District with his family. His father is a farmer and works in the field for his livelihood, Ritesh Kujur also supports his father with farming.
In a matter of days
Arti lives in alwar district of Rajasthan, She has a daughter, who is 18 months old. I have applied a form of “Rajshree Yojna” on the occasion of birth of my daughter.
The Right support
Sarbo lives in village Moonpur, Ramgarh, District- Alwar. Once she feel severe pain in head, and then was admitted in Alwar Government Hospital.
Old Age Pension
Madan Shah is a poor man who lives in a village named Phugnahata Bhawal situated in Ramnagar block of West Champaran. He has three sons and all are married.
Building on a permanent support system
I have one acre land which is not irrigated and yields are also very low. Due to which we have faced a lot of problems in growing food.

Step In the Right Direction
In the Mandiha village of Panchayat Sithi in Gunaha block of West Champaran district of Bihar, Shri Brij Kishore Kazi, age 34, and is son of Suresh Kazi, is a member of BPL family.
The Right Pillar
Sunita married two years back and lived in Hesatu village with her husband, who is a farmer by profession, but occasionally, he use to work as a labor for their livelihood.
VIRUS AND THE VILLAGE DURING COVID-19

SSP – Aftab, Ranchi
Aftab, a differently-abled person, has been helping his community members in enrolling for Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana announced by the government during the lockdown. He collaborated with local authorities to distribute cylinders to women Ujjawala beneficiaries. His physical limitations did not stop him to be change-maker for his community.

SP- Khushiram, Alwar, Rajasthan
On the complaint of poor people in the village, the authoritative people of the government listened and assured that those who do not have received ration can collect their ration and in addition to this it was also discussed that people in the village should aware everyone in the village on COVID 19 by wall painting or through other mediums.

SSP- Deepak, Alwar, Rajasthan
Deepak is a Samarth SoochnaPreneur from Alwar who did a survey to identify families who are vulnerable especially the daily wage workers, differently-abled and the elderly in Sarre Kalan & Indore village. He then arranged for ration kits which were distributed to all these families.

SP- Zakir Hussain, Alwar
Zakir is helping daily wage workers who have lost their livelihoods in the ongoing Corona pandemic! We have all the comforts we need, but there are people who struggle to eat even once a day says Zakir and had offered every help every way possible.

SSP- Abdul Gani, Barmer
Abdul has been spreading awareness about the preventive measures to be taken to avoid corona virus. He has been ensuring that no one falls for misinformation and fake news. Abdul further is ensuring that people under Garib Kalyan Yojna are extended its benefits.

SSP – Kaluram, Guna
Kaluram, a SamarthSoochnaPreneur from Guna made a point to spread awareness on preventive health measures to be taken to avoid corona virus. He has been making regular announcements in the surrounding villages to follow the same and adhere to government guidelines.

SSP – Chandan Singh, Guna
Chandan is working towards creating awareness about the around corona virus, Chandan through wall graffiti has been teaching the dos and don’ts to the people and spreading positivity in times of the lockdown.
